Girl power at Brugger GmbH Magnetsysteme: schoolgirls discover the world of technology

Girls' Day is a Germany-wide initiative that encourages girls to familiarise themselves with professions in the technical and scientific fields and to awaken their interest in these exciting areas of work.

The participants were warmly welcomed at Brugger GmbH Magnetsysteme and were given an exclusive insight into everyday working life at the company. During an interesting company tour, they learnt about the diverse tasks and challenges in a technical company.

After an informative introduction, the students fortified themselves with a hearty breakfast before getting to work in the toolmaking department. There they had the opportunity to assemble a solar-powered sunflower, which was not only fun but also demonstrated their technical skills. As a special memento, they received personalised pencils and pens to remind them of this eventful day.

An absolute highlight was the spontaneous opportunity to join the company sports programme and get active together with the workforce. The schoolgirls were not only able to gain an insight into the world of technology, but also experience the team spirit and working atmosphere of the company at first hand.

Girls' Day at Brugger GmbH Magnetsysteme not only offered the four open-minded schoolgirls an exciting experience, but also the chance to discover their own skills and interests in the technical field. Through practical work on their own workpieces and involvement in everyday working life, they were able to gain valuable insights and deepen their understanding of technical professions. The girls showed great interest and commitment throughout the day, which greatly impressed the employees of Brugger GmbH Magnetsysteme.

"It is important that we get girls interested in technical professions at an early age and encourage them to discover their talents in this field," said Managing Director Georg Brugger-Efinger. "Girls' Day is a great opportunity to show young women the diversity and opportunities in the technology sector."
